AsPEN membership
AsPEN runs as an ISPE Special Interest Group, but the working network is broader — and we're opening it up to vetted self-signup.
Who can join
Academic investigators, regulators, industry researchers, clinicians, and graduate students working — or interested — in pharmacoepidemiology in the Asia-Pacific region. ISPE membership is encouraged but not required for a first conversation.
What membership unlocks
Available today, on the public site:
- Full publication list with PMC full-text links for open-access papers (24 of 43).
- The full Databases, Activities, and thematic publications sections.
Phase 2 — coming when AsPEN moves to its new server:
- A dedicated
/members/area gated by a member login (email magic-link). - Author-Accepted Manuscript (AAM) library — author-supplied copies of papers AsPEN has the right to host.
- Study protocols, analysis code, slide decks, and other internal materials.
- Member directory with research interests + national contact persons.
We do not and will not host publisher PDFs of paywalled papers — that breaches copyright even behind a login. The Phase 2 library will only include materials AsPEN holds explicit author or publisher permission to share.
How vetting works
- You send the application email below.
- The Chair / Academic & Education office reviews — typically within two weeks.
- Once approved, your name appears in the member list (Phase 2) and you receive the welcome email with onboarding details.
